How do I set up and use Chipper Cash to pay for a program?

A Chipper Cash card enables you to make payments worldwide using a virtual card just like a physical one. It is one of the options that our students from Nigeria have used with great success to pay for our Experiences.

To use Chipper Cash to make payment:

1. Download the app
2. Create an account
3. Verify your account

  • It's best to use NIN as your verification document

  • The verification process takes about 7 days to complete

4. Once verified, set up a virtual dollar card that you can fund and use for the transaction. There's an option to create a virtual naira card too, but you need to create a virtual dollar card for your transaction.

5. Fund your Chipper Cash account by adding money from your regular bank account.

  • Note that your Chipper Card account balance is different from your Chipper Card balance; you'll use your card balance to pay for the purchase and not your account balance

  • You can see your Chipper Cash account number and bank name by clicking on 'My Cash' at the top of your account dashboard; you'll use this to make the transfer

  • It takes 3 - 5 minutes for the fund you send to reflect on your card balance

6. Next, add enough funds to the dollar card from your Chipper account balance

  • Click on 'Add funds'

  • It takes 3 - 5 minutes for the fund to reflect

  • Also, Chipper Cash exchange rates will apply when adding funds from your Chipper Cash account balance into your Chipper Cash card balance so have enough funds available for the exchange

7. Once that's done, you can use the card for checkout for your program here at: https://app.entryLevel.net

  • To get other card details, such as the expiry date and security code, which you will be using on the EntryLevel payment portal, click on your virtual card and then on 'Show card details' to flip the card

  • You can copy the details by clicking on the copy icon on the virtual card or you can just copy them out and enter them where needed.
