Help, I can’t make payment with my card from Nigeria!

Is your Nigerian card not working? This may be an individual bank problem or a browser issue.

Updated this week

If you are experiencing difficulties making payments from Nigeria for one of our courses at EntryLevel, we understand that this might be due to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) restrictions on international payments. Here are some solutions to help you successfully complete your transaction:

Recommended Payment Method for Nigerian Users:

  • Use Paystack: To circumvent the CBN restrictions on international payments, we highly recommend selecting Paystack as your preferred payment method. Paystack is tailored for Nigerian transactions and generally provides a smoother payment experience for users in Nigeria.

Troubleshooting Payment Issues: If you encounter problems even when using Paystack, consider the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Browser Issues:

    • Clearing Browser Cache: Sometimes, stored data in your browser can interfere with payment processing. If you're using Google Chrome, for example, you can clear your cache by clicking on 'More Tools' in the menu, then 'Clear Browsing Data'. Choose your time range, typically 'All Time', and make sure to check the boxes for 'Cookies and Other Site Data' and 'Cached Images and Files' before clicking 'Clear Data'.

    • Using Incognito Mode: Another effective method is using Incognito Mode, which can bypass some of the issues caused by browser extensions or cookies. You can open an Incognito window by clicking on the menu button at the top right corner of your browser and selecting 'New Incognito Window', or by pressing Ctrl + Shift + N.

  2. Bank/Card Issues:

    • Switching Cards: If your current card is declining, try another one. Bank cards can sometimes have issues with specific transactions due to bank restrictions or technical problems. Using another card, whether yours or from a family member or friend, can help bypass this issue. Remember, the card used does not impact your enrollment as long as the payment is successful.

Additional Tips:

  • Check Card for International Usage: Ensure that your card is enabled for international transactions. You can confirm this feature by contacting your bank’s customer service.

  • Contact Support: If you’ve tried these steps and still face issues, please do not hesitate to reach out to our support team at [email protected] for assistance.

We aim to make your registration process as smooth as possible and appreciate your patience as we work through any payment challenges you may encounter.
